Castillo de Jumilla Crianza is made with select Monastrell grapes and a touch of Tempranillo. After macerating and fermenting the two varieties separately in stainless-steel tanks, the wine is aged for 24 months in second- or first-year French and American oak barrels for a delicate assemblage of these two grapes. It has a rich bouquet with well-integrated toasted notes, minerality and a fine under layer of fruit. Pairs very well with juicy or gelatinous meat dishes, fish with a variety of sauces, seafood rice dishes and cheese.
